Take Part in the Australian Teacher's Survey

How do you use audiovisual materials in your classroom?...

The Australian Children’s Television Foundation and Screen Australia are undertaking a survey of teachers so we can better understand how audiovisual content is being used within the classroom.

Findings from the Teacher’s Survey: 2012 will help set the strategic priorities of both organisations to ensure that teachers have the best tools to incorporate Australian screen stories into their teachings.

As an educator, we invite you to take part in the survey which is completed online and takes between 10 and 15 minutes, with the option to save as you go.

Please take this unique opportunity to tell us how you are using audiovisual content in your classroom. This information will ensure that we are developing future resources that cater to your and your students’ varying needs and interests.

Trop Jr talent JUMPs into finals

The Trop Jr finalist filmmakers for 2013 are all aged between 11 and 15 years and come from NSW, Victoria, Queensland, ACT and Western Australia. Their Trop Jr films will be screened for a celebrity judging panel in the Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney on Sunday 17 February from 11am to 2pm. There will also live satellite links to outdoor locations in major cities around Australia; including Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Wollongong and Surfers Paradise...
